Fallen officer brought home to McComb

The body of Liquori Tate who was a 2009 graduate of South Pike High School and a 2011 graduate of Southwest Mississippi Community College has returned home safely with police escort, see pictures below.

  Tate, who graduated from the police academy in June of 2014, was killed in the line of duty in Hattiesburg Saturday evening.  All arrangements will be handled by Craft Funeral Home in McComb.

  2. I know it is a shame when any officer is killed in the line of duty. When it is over a simple traffic stop, that is where my anger kicks in. These people had no concern or respect for that man, and therefore none should be given to them. My heart good out to the families of both officers. May their sacrifice never be forgotten. My prayers and thoughts are with both families. And for those whose feel that another black officer kiled….I can only pray that God opens your eyes and see their is no color…only another human being.
