McComb Garden Club’s 59th Annual Lighted Azalea Trail
K106 coverage of the 2016 Pike County Azalea Festival is presented by Burger King, The Pike County Chamber of Commerce, Williamson Nursery and McDonalds
The McComb Garden Club is sponsoring their 59th Annual Lighted Azalea Trail. McComb Garden Club encourages members & friends of Pike County to participate by lighting their businesses & yards during the month of March, the height of the blooming season for azaleas, flowering trees, & other springtime plantings. Civic & cultural clubs, as well as individuals participate in the lighting campaign. There will be 5 distinct regions in Pike County with a featured street in each area which will be sure to impress those passing by. Each house on the featured street will have its yard lit. The houses are lite from dusk to 9pm.
The 5 highlighted regions are:
North of Delaware-North McComb
South of Delaware-South McComb.
The ceremony held in Edgewood Park. Special honor is given to the crowned Azalea King and Queen.
