Arrest Made in Dollar General Robbery
Two men have been charged in connection robbing a Dollar General store in McComb after they were caught on surveillance camera on Aug. 17.
Pike County sheriff’s deputies arrested Da’Michael L. Baker, 20, and Mario Jennings, 18, both of Magnolia, on Monday. Both men are charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Investigators said the men were seen on surveillance video Aug. 17 during a robbery of Dollar General at 5092 Highway 98.
The clerk said she was standing behind the register when two men ran into the store pointing guns and demanding money.
The smaller man seemed to be more hyper and told the larger man what to do, the clerk told authorities.
The men fled the store with an unknown amount of money inside a Dollar General bag.
Investigators said help from the public helped them make the arrests.
