SMOKIN’ ON THE TRACKS
This weekend things in Summit will be heating up… Literally. Smokin’ On The Tracks is one of the community’s most anticipated annual festivals in downtown Summit.
This year’s BBQ cook off, classic car show, PALS 5K fun run/walk, live music and last but not least delicious food will help raise money for the Summit Police Department, to help them purchase bullet proof vests and other safety gear that they need.
The schedule is as follows:
FRIDAY APRIL 12TH 5P.M.
BBQ Contestant arrive, vendor, food, Budweiser Tent Opens
5:30 p.m. Richard Ryan (country)
7:00 p.m. Jamey and The Soundbreakers (blues & rock)
SATURDAY APRIL 13TH
7:30 a.m. PALS Racin’ for Rescues 5K
Cook Off and Taste for Tips Begin, Vendor Foods, Budweiser Tent, Antique Car Show, Red Knights Motorcycle Club-MS Chapter 6, and Live Music
10:00 a.m. Jubilee Performing Arts Center Choir
11:00 a.m. Southern Rain (oldie & dance)
1:30 p.m. DL & The New Connection (blues)
