Thursday, May 9, 2019 was a big day for race fans as Kyle Petty and his crew visited Magee, Mississippi at Love’s Truckstop.   The charity event was part of a fund raising event sponsored by Petty to support Victory Junction, a charity established by the Adam Petty Foundation to help support chronically ill and disable children.  Governor Phil Bryant and his wife, Deborah, were also on hand to see the caravan of 150 bikers make their way to a pit stop for lunch and fuel.

Love’s Truckstop, a sponsor for the ride, in Magee was the only stop chosen in Mississippi for the Kyle Petty Charity Ride as they made their way from Seattle, Washington to Key Largo, Florida.   Celebrities on the ride were available for pictures and autographs for their fans included:  Richard Petty, Kyle Petty, Tim Allen, Harry Grant, Hershel Walker, Donnie Allison and Rutledge Wood from Top Gear USA.

Since its inception 25 years ago the ride has raised more than $18.5 million for Victory Junction and other charities that support chronically ill children.
